Dear patients,
many gynecological procedures no longer require a hospital stay. Thanks to modern minimally invasive techniques, we can perform operations gently, safely, and with minimal strain on the body.
All operations are performed on an outpatient basis under general anesthesia in a certified surgical center, allowing patients to return home the same day. We ensure a high level of safety and comfort at every stage of the procedure.
Procedures in the uterine cavity (hysteroscopy)
Hysteroscopy is an examination of the uterine cavity using a thin optical instrument inserted through the cervix — without any skin incisions. It allows an accurate diagnosis and immediate treatment in a single procedure.
- Diagnostic hysteroscopy — detailed examination of the uterine cavity in cases of cycle disorders, bleeding, infertility, or abnormal ultrasound findings
- Removal of endometrial polyps — targeted removal of polyps followed by histological examination
- Endometrial resection — removal of the uterine lining for heavy and prolonged bleeding that does not respond to medication
- Removal of intrauterine devices (IUDs) — including difficult cases where the threads are not visible or the IUD has shifted
- Removal of submucosal fibroids — removal of fibroids growing into the uterine cavity while preserving the uterus
- Division of adhesions in the uterine cavity — restoring the normal anatomy of the uterine cavity, e.g. in Asherman's syndrome or after previous procedures
Laparoscopic operations
Laparoscopy (keyhole surgery) is performed through a few small incisions in the abdominal wall using a video camera and fine instruments. Compared to open surgery, it is less painful, leaves barely visible scars, and allows a quick recovery.
- Diagnostic laparoscopy — investigating the causes of chronic lower abdominal pain, infertility, or suspected endometriosis
- Sterilization (tubal, laparoscopic) — a reliable and permanent method of contraception for women who have completed their family planning
- Division of pelvic adhesions — removing adhesions that can cause pain and infertility
- Removal of ovarian cysts — gentle removal of the cyst while preserving as much healthy ovarian tissue as possible
Plastic surgery of the external genitalia
We perform all types of plastic surgery of the external genitalia — for both medical and aesthetic reasons. Before the procedure, we discuss your wishes, the options, and the expected result in detail.
How the operation works
- Preliminary consultation — examination, discussion of the indication, the surgical method, and possible risks
- Preparation — necessary laboratory tests and consultation with the anesthesiologist
- Day of surgery — procedure under general anesthesia in the certified surgical center
- Post-operative monitoring — stay in the recovery room until you feel fully well
- Going home — on the same day, with detailed recommendations for the recovery period
- Follow-up visit — discussion of the histology results and further care in our practice
With kind regards,
Dr. Saewska and the practice team
